AI CLUB Of UWGB

The purpose of AI CLUB Of UWGB is to provide the students of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay with the opportunity to learn, explore, and develop practical and ethical competencies in AI, particularly Generative AI within a collaborative organizational setting. This club will encourage the ethical and responsible uses of AI. Student Organizations are to be student initiated, student lead and student run. The AI Club of UW–Green Bay aims to foster student engagement, innovation, and collaboration in the rapidly evolving field of Generative Artificial Intelligence. Currently, there exists a significant gap between students' foundational understanding of AI and the competencies employers increasingly demand. To bridge this gap, the club will host meetings featuring guest speakers, industry news discussions, and hands-on demonstrations of AI tools. The Club will also collaborate with faculty, alumni, and business partners to support educational initiatives and applied projects. By creating a dynamic space for learning through projects, workshop, and guided learning experiences, the AI Club seeks to enhance AI literacy, promote responsible and ethical AI use, and strengthen UW–Green Bay's leadership in preparing students for the emerging AI driven workforce.
