Unleash your superhero, and join UNC Campus Safety for the Tar Heel Preparedness Festival on Tuesday, Sept. 15 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Pit and Polk Place. University departments, student organizations, and local, county, and state partners will share preparedness information, provide interactive activities, conduct live demonstrations, and help you discover the skills and resources needed to stay safe during an emergency. Level up your preparedness superpowers by visiting booths, completing challenges and learning practical safety skills that can help you respond confidently when it matters most. Whether you’re extinguishing a fire, learning CPR or exploring campus safety resources, every stop helps you become a stronger preparedness hero. Be your own superhero. Prepare for anything!
