Contemporary With Black Box Dance Theatre

Get an inside look at Black Box Dance Theatre’s creative process with Artistic Director Michelle Pearson, who will lead a dynamic, contemporary dance master class grounded in the company’s physical, expressive and collaborative approach to movement. This class is for dancers with previous experience and will be physical, challenging and joyful. NC State LIVE and the Department of Performing Arts and Technology partnered to offer the free class. The class is part of the department’s Master Class Series and is open to NC State students, staff and faculty. Advanced registration is highly recommended. Black Box will be in residence with NC State LIVE through March 2027. The theater company will facilitate community workshops, host film screenings and perform PATRIOT.
