Neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) affect some of the world’s poorest communities, raising urgent questions about justice, equity, and global responsibility. This session will explore how ethical principles can guide research funding, treatment access, and protections for vulnerable populations with limited political influence. Addressing NTDs requires more than medical solutions; it means confronting the social and systemic inequalities that allow these diseases to persist.
