Clean Data, Dirty Politics: Let's explore the Federal Election Commissions (FEC) data

Attendees will learn the basics of the Federal Elections Commission data and the main components that are tracked related to campaign donations. During the workshop we will explore the data and see how many exciting revelations we can find. We will also walk through how to use the AI tools Ollama and marimo to support research and analysis To learn more about open source tools, open science, or open scholarship at GW, visit the Open Source Program Office’s website.
