AI Foundations: The Benefits and Risks of AI Tools in Teaching and Learning

Are you still trying to figure out what AI tools are available to GW educators and students and how they could impact teaching and learning? This session welcomes anyone with a teaching role at GW to learn more about the AI tools available to you and your students, and their possibilities, limits, and risks. We will also discuss general strategies for core instructional priorities in the age of AI, including maintaining privacy, equity, accessibility, and academic integrity. This workshop is presented by the Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE). The CTE provides comprehensive, integrated solutions for instructors in search of teaching solutions. If you need feedback on assignment or syllabus design, advice on teaching methods, or ideas for new activities, consider booking a consultation with the CTE.
