Publishing Open Access at No Cost Through Transformative Agreements

This seminar introduces faculty to transformative agreements and explains how they support the broader shift toward open access publishing. Participants learn which transformative agreements Fairfield University participates in, and how these agreements allow eligible authors to publish open access without paying article processing charges (APCs). The session will also provide guidance on how to identify covered journals and take advantage of these agreements to make scholarly work more widely accessible and visible.
