PSYC 202 or PSYC 203 Description: This course focuses on the psychology of aging through a biological, cognitive, and socio-emotional framework. Topics to be covered include how mental capacities change over time, especially memory processing, differences between normal and pathological aging, neurobiological changes with age, dementias such as Alzheimer’s disease, and individual differences in aging.
