MATH 101 and CHEM 121 and PHYS 101 Description: The course will discuss diverse materials forming processes, including applications for metals, ceramics and polymers. Forming processes from very large to nano scale will be discussed. Emphasis will be understanding how forming processes affect materials properties and how processes are selected based upon the materials and sizes of components being manufactured.
