MATH 101 and MATH 102 Description: Geophysical processes (earthquakes, tides, eruptions) are often measured by discrete time series data from isolated points, multi-sensor networks, or cables. Principles and case studies will cover: data sampling design/limits, quantification of periodicity and filtering, correlation and deconvolution interferometry, beamforming and migration, and supervised and unsupervised signal classification/detection. Graduate/Undergraduate Equivalency: EEPS 650 . Mutually Exclusive: Cannot register for EEPS 450 if student has credit for EEPS 650 /ESCI 440/ESCI 640→EEPS 450→unlocks 0 courses
