ELEC 242 or ELEC 301 or ELEC 475 or COMP 330 Description: An introduction to the basic concepts, algorithms and applications in computer vision. Topics include: image processing pipelines, low-level vision/image processing methods such as filtering and edge detection, mid-level vision topics such as segmentation and feature detection, and high-level vision tasks such as object recognition and face recognition with neural networks. The course will involve programming and implementing basic computer vision algorithms in Python. Cross-list: ELEC 447 . Graduate/Undergraduate Equivalency: COMP 546 .
