Steady state and transient conservation equations for mass, energy, charge and momentum will be derived and applied using basic mathematical principles, physical laws, stoichiometry, and thermodynamic properties. Problem based learning groups will solve open-ended problems. Required for students intending to major in bioengineering. MATH 211 is a concurrent prerequisite and may be taken the same semester→BIOE 252→unlocks 14 courses
