Theory of small engine operation will be the focus for instruction and labs in the areas of technical reading and measurement, troubleshooting, failure analysis, and safety. Introduction to SMAW (shielded metal arc welding), MIG (metal inert gas), oxygen/fuel cutting, and plasma cutting theories and applications. Emphasis will be on technique, safety, metal working skill development, and metal processes with a variety of materials and equipment. (Typically Offered: Fall, Spring)→AGEDS 3880→unlocks 1 courses
